8 days / 7 nights
1 day Sofia
As soon as you arrive at the airport of Sofia, you will be transferred and accommodated in the hotel. After that
we will do a brief sightseeing tour to see the highlights of Sofia, the most particular and beautiful places in the
city. Dinner will be served in the hotel’s restaurant. Overnight.
2 day Sofia – Melnik
Today you will travel in the south of Bulgaria to visit its smallest town, Melnik – well known for its delicious
wine. You are going to visit a local wine cellar and taste the “melnishko wine”. Lunch and dinner. Overnight.
3 day Melnik – Thessalonikki – Katerini
Passing through the border between Bulgaria and Greece you will reach Thessaloniki – the second biggest
city of Greece. Due to a sightseeing tour you will see the Old fortress walls, the Arch of Galerius, Roman
market and Theatre, The Rotunda and others. Continuing to Katerini you will be accommodated in a chosen
hotel on the sea side of the Olympian banks. Dinner will be served in the hotel’s restaurant. Overnight.
4 day Katerini – Meteora – Katerini
On the fourth day of our route you will visit a unique historical and natural phenomenon – Meteora. You will
see a group of monasteries on top of the rocks. They date back to 11th century AD. During this time you will,
also, have free time for shopping, lunch and relax in the nearby town, Kalambaka. Return to the hotel in
Katerini. Dinner will be served in the hotel’s restaurant. Ovenight.
5 day Katerini – Kyustendil
Today we are going back to Bulgaria, but not in Sofia. You will move toward another town, Kyustendil,
known for its curative mineral waters and the Roman baths. On the way there you will visit the biggest
monastery in Bulgaria, Rila monastery (a UNESCO object). As we arrive in Kyustendil, you will be
accommodated in the hotel. Dinner will be served in the hotel’s restaurant. Overnight.
6 day Kyustendil
This day is all in your disposal and for total relax. We will do a brief sightseeing tour of the city and after that
you can enjoy the Spa procedures that the hotel offers. Dinner will be served in the hotel’s restaurant.
Overnight.
7 day Kyustendil – Sofia
After you get transferred in Sofia, you will be accommodated in the hotel. In the afternoon you will visit
Boyana Church, a UNESCO object, containing one of the most important painting collections of the Middle
Ages dating back to 1259. Another very important place that we won’t let you miss is the National Historical
Museum, where the golden treasure of the Thracians is located. Dinner will be served in the hotel’s restaurant.
Overnight.
8 day Departure
Depending on your flight’s details you will be transferred to the airport of Sofia for your flight back home.
