Arrival in Bucharest – the capital of Romania. Pick-up from the airport and transfer to your
hotel. The rest of the day is free. In the evening you meet your tour guide and the fellow

Bucharest – Curtea de Arges - Sibiu
After breakfast, sightseeing tour of Bucharest including visit of the famous Parliament Palace - the second largest building in the world after the American Pentagon. Departure to Curtea de Arges, the former capital of Walachia, and visit Curtea de Arges Monastery where the Romanian Kings were buried. In the afternoon we will drive along the picturesque Olt Valley to visit Cozia Monastery and then we will arrive in Sibiu - one of the
oldest and most beautiful towns in Transylvania and European Capital of Culture in 2007. In the evening enjoy a walking tour of the medieval downtown of Sibiu. Overnight in Sibiu.

SIBIU - SIGHISOARA – BISTRITA
After breakfast, drive to Biertan to visit the impressive fortified church. Continue to Sighisoara, the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler(also known as Dracula). Visit the medieval citadel (the Upper Town): the Clock Tower and the Church on the Hill. Departure to Targu Mures – panoramic tour of the elegant city centre well known for its architecture. Drive on to Bistrita - one of the 7 main medieval towns of Transylvania. Overnight in Bistrita.

BISTRITA - MARAMURES - CAMPULUNG MOLDOVENESC
Departure to Maramures – a small and unique location in northern Romania that carefully and distinctively preserved the culture, traditions and lifestyle of a medieval peasant past. Visit the picturesque villages of Sacel, Bogdan Voda and Rozavlea, with their wooden churches and porches. Visit the impressive monastery of Barsana and have lunch at the monastery. In the afternoon drive across the Carpathians into Bucovina. Stop in the Prislop Pass to admire the breathtakingscenery. Overnight in Câmpulung Moldovenesc.
